The death of my husband after 40 years of marriage and three kids was devastating to me.  I began to write short essays and my children suggested that I could get an outlet through a blog.  I have never blogged before so I am learning as I go.  I am hoping through this new adventure that:

This may be a place to recover.

I want to share my last year with others who have experienced the loss of a spouse.  I have learned a great deal about how to live, to survive, to love, to laugh, to work and to be a whole work unto myself – something I don’t think I ever have been before.

Come with me on my journey of self-discovery, self-recovery, self-making.

Join me if you want to discover words that may help you learn more about who you are too.
